I was wondering what kind of changes you would need to make if you going put the USBC National shot on wood lanes.

ANSWER:

The first thing that you would need to do is check the lanes for topography.  Before any professional laneman decides what oil pattern is to be used, they need to know what the SHAPE of the lane is.

Once that is determined, then (and only then) can an oil pattern be determined.
